A great bookstore and a very nice café in one. People just enjoy being here.

one of my favorite bookstores. the selection of books is fantastic and the non-books are carefully chosen. there is a lot of passion behind the concept i think you can feel that and that is great! there is also a small café that offers fine snacks and other delicacies. that is of course at the moment too.

Great place and one of the best addresses in FN. Combination of bookstore and café. There are also lots of fun, quirky, useful and special things to buy. Who is looking for 0815 is definitely wrong here.

Even in times of Corona, service is top notch - books were ordered yesterday afternoon in the online shop and delivered today (at noon!). A big praise!

Now this is a very well-stocked cultural bookstore with exquisite literature. The staff there is always very helpful and gives you competent advice. In the same ambience there is also a cafe in a corner. Of course, this invites you to linger.

The Gessler was an Excelenter place to work on my school assignments in peace and to have a coffee alongside, together with a few classmates

Great cake!

Formerly a "full" bookstore now a mix of cafe / books and odds and ends. If you want to drink coffee in beautiful surroundings and read a book, this is the place for you. The metal avalanche is always on the go in front of the bookstore, it is much quieter inside.

Good food, delicious drinks. It has great gifts and small gift ideas. Really great selection of tea towels and fantastic pencils with good eraser. Come back anytime

Great place to sit down with your laptop or a book while you have coffee. Conveniently close to the main bus station and the lake.

It is always pleasant in the Gessler. You always meet somebody, you can browse, have a good time. Class combo and super nice team.

Good selection of different titles. In the café can be read comfortably. Friendly and helpful staff. All non-existent books are quickly procured.

This is a very cosy place in front of Lake Boden in the town of Friedrichshafen. The atmosphere and the concept-store-caffee environment makes the place special! The furniture and lighting are of well-known design origin, the lovely staff only add to the overall exceptional feeling. Come here and enjoy the daily menu a great beer, variety of tee or buy an amazing present for your loved ones. Cheers!

Cozy atmosphere, relaxed and super friendly service, excellent WiFi, delicious cakes and coffee. Great to spend an entire chill Sunday afternoon.

i couldn't understand the place in it's entirity, which does not affect how pleasant the place and experience was. delicious coffee and eggs compliment the scrumptious alcoholic beverages. the books are right there if you feel like exercising your eyes while while sipping on something.

A cafe in a library, it could not be any better. In addition to good drinks, there are also exceptionally delicious small dishes.

A very cozy and stylish place where you are served very courteously and there are delicious drinks and snacks. You can even sit outside if the street noise doesn't bother you, but if you walk across the street, a few steps down through the park you are right on Lake Constance.

Amazing place! Spent 2 days working from there. They don't make you feel bad for using their WIFi all day long. They even answered nicely to a woman who didnt want to order anything, just get free WIFI. However, I highly recommend their great soup, quiche, fresh smoothies and Fitness breakfast. Flo is a super nice guy and provides great service!

Love this place. My favorite cafe in Friedrichshafen! Both coffee and Aperol spritz available among the cool books, sandwiches and wifi.

Very nice ambience, friendly staff, strong WiFi. As expected the prices are accordingly a bit high. But it's so far the best cafe in Friedrichshafen.
